Foundation Wall Reinforcement
Shotcrete, Helical Tiebacks, GeoLock™ Anchors
Helical Tiebacks
Helical tiebacks are used to stabilize existing earth retaining structures that have experienced excessive movement; i.e., walls that are cracked, leaning and/or bowing. The wall distress may be a result of changes in soil moisture conditions, rise in groundwater levels, plugging of the wall drainage system over time, plumbing leaks, expansive clay soils, frost-jacking, or surcharge loads above the wall.
Shotcrete
Shotcrete is mortar or concrete that is applied as a spray, through a high-pressure hose and application nozzle. In the hands of a skilled operator, shotcrete offers the versatility to construct, repair, and reinforce walls, bridges, tunnels, channels, and other structural elements.
Geo-Lock™ Anchors
The Supportworks Geo-Lock™ Wall Anchor System permanently stabilizes your basement walls, offering the best opportunity to straighten the walls without the cost and disruption of foundation replacement.
Heavy duty, galvanized earth anchors are embedded in stable, undisturbed soil outside your foundation wall. Each anchor is connected by a steel rod to a wall plate that provides clamping pressure against the inside of the foundation wall. This method also offers the potential to straighten the wall back to its original position.
